This game is under development: Additional graphics and music will be continuously added over the next two weeks.

This is a Text Adventure game, created as a submission for the Text Adventure Literacy Jam of 2022.

  • Parser: VERB-NOUN or COMPLEX-PARSER - either one works in this game!
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Graphics: Yes
  • Music: No, although it will be added eventually
  • Sound effects: Yes
  • Map: Yes

Text Adventure games require you to type commands to examine objects, move to different locations, and solve puzzles.

  • EXAMINE CAT will tell you more about the cat.
  • PET CAT will pet the cat.
  • GET CAT will put the cat in your inventory... maybe.
  • EAT CAT will... do nothing... hopefully.

For more instructions on how to play the game, type HELP at any time.

Once you have completed the tutorial at the beginning of the game, you can type HINT to get a hint for solving the next puzzle.

This game was created using Adventuron, a free authoring system for Text Adventure games. Links with tutorials / guides will be posted soon.

The graphics were created in Photoshop. Links with tutorials / guides will be posted soon.

Many thanks to Chris Ainsley, the amazing and tireless developer of Adventuron, and to the entire Adventuron Discord community for their help, support, and encouragement.

Great work. I got stuck with teapot.

I am not sure how to find it

Thank you! I just updated the hint for that part of the game... Can you refresh and ask for a hint again, and see if it's more helpful? If not, I will post the hint here :)

Edit: Make sure you save first! You can do SAVE to save to your browser or SAVEF to download a save file (and then LOADF to load it). Someone told me that refreshing their game caused it to start over from the beginning, which shouldn't happen, but I'm not sure what caused it.
